Quality Mock Inspections

Full quality assurance audit and inspection process covering all Fundamental standards of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 (Part 3). These inspections can be announced or unannounced and tailored to meet the requirements of the Care Provider either pre or post CQC inspection and will always be performed with the individuals receiving care being at the centre of the inspection process, to ensure all care needs are being met through the delivery of a high quality care service.

The robust audit and inspection process is underpinned by the CQC Key Lines of Enquiry, based upon the 5 inspection areas of the service being:

  • Caring
  • Responsive
  • Effective
  • Well Led

This mock inspection would include:

  • A scoping brief of the planned audit process following the Care Provider’s instruction
  • Full audit findings report
  • Identification of current good practises
  • Indicative CQC rating for the care service, based on the evidence of the audit and inspection process
  • Action plan based on the compliance judgements made throughout the audit and inspection process, leading to service improvements and Regulatory compliance
  • Review of progress against identified action plan within an agreed timeframe with the care provider

While recognising the financial viability of Providers and the requirement for a return on investment and value for money from the Consultancy role.

Quality Assurance Reviews

Quality Assurance Reviews and Monitoring Service based on the 5 CQC inspection areas as listed above, meeting CQC requirements for auditing services, monitoring and review to ensure service improvements are evident and are being consistently implemented.

Review periods will be agreed with the Care Provider.

Pulse Checks

Pulse Checks to monitor and track consistency of compliance and to ensure systems and process are embedded and that the individuals receiving care and support remain the priority and focus for all care providers. Ensuring that the care needs of the individuals remain the focal point of the inspection process through observation techniques, aligned with CQC methodology.
